About the United Beekeepers of Alberta Council and our
First Annual General MeetingThe United Beekeepers of Alberta is new province-wide organisation with a mandate to include and represent the varied interests of all Alberta beekeepers and bee enthusiasts.
On September 29th our first annual meeting will be held at The Parkdale Community Centre in Calgary.
This meeting will be fun and educational, with great speakers and a short session to express your ideas and volunteer if you like.
Participate as much or as little as you like whether you have 20,000 bee colonies, one hive, are just getting started, or maybe you keep bumblebees or mason bees. Maybe you just raise queens.
Whoever you are we need you.
In short, our goal is to bring together all Alberta beekeepers regardless of location or number of colonies as well as bee enthusiasts and bee professionals for mutual support, education, and exchange of ideas — and to faithfully represent Alberta beekeepers to the public, governments, and media.
If interested, please contact United Beekeepers of Alberta at info@albertabeekeepers.com
or call 403-208-2475.
