Dr. Medhat Nasr

We are pleased to have Dr. Medhat Nasr joining us on Sunday, May 28th for an update on honey bee health in Western Canada.  Dr. Nasr served as the Alberta Provincial Apiculturist from 2002-2019 and President of the Canadian Association of Professional Apiculturists from 2013 to 2017.  He has over 50 years of experience in the industry.  His expertise encompasses a wide diverse range of skills including beekeeping management, bee breeding, nutrition, bee disease and pest management, and technology development and transfer.  In addition to teaching around the world, he has also received numerous awards for his contributions to the apiculture field in Canada and USA.  Please join us online in welcoming Dr. Nasr back to our association!
